Sirris, the innovation centre of and for the technology industry in Belgium, is looking for a motivated colleague to take our expertise in generative AI to the next level. You will help businesses create innovative applications and create new value using LLMs.
What are your responsibilities?
Developing and tuning large language models (LLMs) to help businesses with their specific challenges and opportunities.
Building proof-of-concept solutions to demonstrate the possibilities of generative AI.
Providing technical guidance with integrating AI solutions into existing business processes.
Giving advice on cost estimates, feasibility and implementation strategies for AI projects.
Working actively with colleagues and businesses to resolve technical and strategic issues
Participating in building knowledge and expertise around generative AI within Sirris and disseminating this to our industrial partners.
A master’s degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, data science or an equivalent background.
At least one year of professional work experience with machine learning and generative AI technology, with a specific focus on LLMs
Practical experience in developing, fine-tuning and implementing AI models (e.g. RAG or LLaMA).
Experience with at least one of the following tools and frameworks is a plus: Hugging Face, LangChain, CrewAI or AWS Bedrock
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a pragmatic approach.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
Fluency in Dutch or French, with a good knowledge of English.
