To further strengthen our organisation and our staff, we are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner with strong business acumen and a genuine passion for people and organisational development.
Your role
As an HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for one or more departments and divisions. You will quickly be familiar with their contexts, understand their challenges and objectives, and translate these into well-thought-out and workable HR solutions.
You will build a strong partnership with managers and staff and act as their point of contact for HR-related questions.
You will advise and support managers and staff on a wide range of HR issues, focusing on performance, development and collaboration.
You ensure that HR processes and practices are applied consistently and meticulously within your units, so that they deliver tangible added value for both the business and the employees.
You take the initiative within your own area of expertise, lead projects, and actively contribute to broader HR initiatives.
You have at least 7 years’ experience as an HR professional and a keen interest in business partnering.
In addition, you have built up expertise or you have a solid foundation and the motivation to develop your knowledge further in performance & talent management
Education: a Master’s degree or equivalent through experience
You approach issues from different angles, communicate clearly and build relationships easily with colleagues at all levels of the organisation. You combine a proactive attitude with a strong focus on results and a pragmatic approach.
You are fluent in Dutch or French, and feel sufficiently comfortable expressing yourself in the other national language as well. You have strong communication skills in English.
Location: Your place of work is flexible. You will preferably be based at one of our sites: Heverlee, Brussels, Ghent or Seraing. You are willing to travel to Heverlee at least once a week. You can alternate between working on-site and working from home.
