Looking for a Technician to join our technology lab
Sirris Test labs is looking for a precise and motivated Lab Technician to join the team. At Sirris, the leading center for technological innovation, you will work in inspiring surroundings and play an essential role in the execution of commercial testing as well as contribute to research and development projects.
Your tasks & responsibilities:
You organize and coordinate the execution of different tests and projects, while maintaining the smooth running of the daily operations.
Along with with your colleagues you are responsible for the maintenance and calibration of our high end equipment in order to always guarantee accurate results.
You accurately document your results, preform a first analysis and you present your findings in a clear and structured way.
In close collaboration with the project engineers you add to the successful execution of industrial projects.
You play your part in maintaining the lab inventory and you order the necessary materials to maintain an optimal functioning of the test lab.
What do we expect from you?
You obtained a TSO degree (technical secundary eductaion) or a bachelor's degree in a technical field.
A previous experience in a similar role is a plus
You work accurately according to existing protocols and you contribute to the creation of new test procedures.
You strive for quality and you are consistent and precise in your way of working.
You collaborate in the development process and show creativity in your work.
You can connect well with other people and you can communicate on different levels.
You possess a scientific mindset and the drive to expand your knowledge and to keep it up-to-date.
You are fluent in Dutch and English. Basic knowledge of French is an asset.
You will mainly work in Leuven but you are willing to travel to our site in Seraing from time to time.
