As a Quality Officer you will be an indispensable pillar of support for the business. The delivery of consistent levels of quality is instrumental in accomplishing our mission. For that reason, we implement various processes at Sirris which describe what we do, how we do it, and by whom this is done. Your task in this will be to enable “quality” to grow as an intrinsic factor within Sirris. Our quality processes, therefore, are not an objective in themselves, but a means for supporting the business in the attainment of its goals:


-     You will establish a strong rapport with the internal departments, so that armed with a proper understanding of the business you are able to support and facilitate compliance with the quality requirements in our day-to-day business operations.

-     You will coordinate the quality management system (ISO-9001 and ISO-17025) and formulate proposals on how this can be improved. Amongst other things, this means:

  • organising activities for the quality team, such as quality meetings, formulation of annual activity plans, organisation of internal communication and training activities;

  • implementation of quality control:

  • carrying out customer satisfaction surveys, analysing the results, reporting back to departments;

  • following up any anomalies identified and corrective and preventive actions;

  • helping to develop, implement and monitor KPIs;

  • managing internal and external audits, including acting on their findings;

  • helping customers and suppliers with any quality-related issues;

  • observance and promotion of quality culture and standards;

  • identification, analysis and implementation of improvement opportunities;

  • keeping your know-how up to date (legislation, quality standards, etc.)


What do we expect from you?

  • You will hold a bachelor’s degree and have the necessary experience with respect to quality management. You will be fully familiar with ISO-9001 and ISO-17025.

  • You have an affinity for figures and the formulation and analysis of information. Having a financial background and experience as a business analysis will be an added bonus.

  • You can work independently and are able to demonstrate leadership by spurring others into action and setting them on right development path.

  • You are able to follow up quality processes and to enter into dialogue with a diversity of stakeholders.

  • You are meticulous in your work, results-driven and proactive when it comes to deadlines which have been set.

  • You are customer minded.

  • You are a supporter of open cooperation as part of a team, but can also work effectively on your own.

  • You can communicate fluently and professionally in Dutch, French and English.

  • You are at ease working with MS-Office applications and are not averse to learning new tools.

  • You have an inquisitive mind and are a fast learner.

  • You are prepared to travel to the different sites of Sirris on a regular basis.
